10 Ways to Contribute to GLAD Alliance

Cash contributions in the form of Membership Contributions and "Over and Above_ contributions are a good way to support GLAD's ministries. However, there are other ways too. Here are a few to consider:

1. If you use online banking, you can schedule a regular monthly contribution to GLAD. A check in the amount you designate will be automatically sent to GLAD. You don't have to remember to write the check and there's no muss or fuss with envelopes and stamps!
2. Does your employer have a matching gift program? One member supports GLAD with his own contributions that are matched dollar for dollar by his employer. Send your contribution to GLAD's P.O. Box along with your employer's matching gift form. We'll certify receipt of your gift and return the form to your employer so that the matching gift can be made.
3. Consider a gift membership for a relative or friend. Just send in the membership (downloadable online at www.gladalliance.org ) with your check. Clearly mark it as a gift membership and let us know your gift recipient's name, address, phone number and email address. We'll acknowledge the contribution to you and let your recipient know about the gift.
4. GLAD accepts memorial contributions. These may be made to the general fund or designated for GLAD's endowment funds.
5. Consider honoring someone with a contribution. We'll send a letter to your honoree letting him or her know of the honor.

7. Do you have frequent flyer miles? GLAD can always use free airline tickets for travel to leadership retreats and other meetings and conferences. If you have miles to contribute, please contact Randy Palmer at 724-850-8918 or rpalmer@gladalliance.org. At this time, GLAD does not have the ability to pool miles from different contributors. Mileage contributions from each contributor must be sufficient to provide at least one round-trip domestic ticket.
8. Through PayPal, GLAD accepts contribution via online credit card charges. Go to www.gladalliance.org. Please consider an additional contribution of 3% to cover the service charge assessed to GLAD for the transaction.
9. Contributions to the Chuck Carpenter Leadership Development Fund enable seminarians, students and low income persons to participate in GLAD activities. Please consider a contribution designated for this fund.
10. GLAD will be launching a fundraising campaign in the near future to support a major Open & Affirming conference in 2006. When contacted about this event, please contribute generously.
