A cast of impressive speakers, the Nevada sun in the middle of winter, and the hard work of our Open &Affirming Ministry team: what’s not to like? Breathing Life, the O&A Ministry Team’s training event, will be held February 9-11, 2006 at First Christian Church in Las Vegas, NV.
Currently, the list of speakers includes Emily Eastwood, Executive Director of Lutherans Concerned of North America; Mary Ann Tolbert, Executive Director of the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry at Pacific School of Religion, and Ron Parker, Executive Regional Minister of the Central Rocky Mountain Region.
Registration is expected to be $50 and will include the event, local transportation, and food. A group rate is being negotiated at a local hotel.
