A Letter From Church Extension

Last month Crossbeams announced that GLAD has invested it's funds with Church Extension. Recently, James Powell, president of Church Extension, sent us this letter:

While I know you have heard from our Investment Team at Church Extension with words of appreciation for the investment that GLAD has made at Church Extension, I write to add my words of appreciation as well. We are proud to provide to congregations and partners of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) investments that they can count on both for the interest that is paid and the confidence they can have that their money is being taken care of in fiscally sound ways. It is great to have you join in this partnership with your recent investment. I personally am glad that GLAD is one of our investors now as I so believe in what it is you do as you help congregations of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) "draw their circle wider." It was my privilege to attend the recent Open and Affirming Event in Las Vegas and to feel the power of the movement. So, thanks again for your investment at Church Extension.
