The Human Rights Campaign, which recently teamed up with the Institute for Welcoming Resources, has launched 'Out In Scripture.'
Out in Scripture is a lectionary based resource for sermons and Bible study. The first commentary, based on the lectionary readings for Pentecost Sunday, June 4, 2006, includes reflections from Rev. Dr. Miguel de la Torre who teaches social ethics at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO; Rev. Dr. Marvin M. Ellison who who teaches Christian ethics at Bangor Theological Seminary in Portland, ME; and Rev. Dr. Sandra Polaski who is a published New Testament scholar and Baptist minister.
