News from the Gay, Lesbian, and Affirming Disciples Alliance
Who is DJAN?
You may know that one of the organizations that
GLAD partners with is DJAN, the
Disciples Justice Action Network
.
DJAN describes itself as "a multi-racial, multi-ethnic grassroots network
of individuals, congregations, and organizations
within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),
all working together for greater justice, peace and diversity
in our churches, our communities, our nations
(Canada and the United States) and our world."
Along with GLAD, DJAN partners with a number of
organizations working for justice, many of them with a
focus on LGBT issues.
DJAN is a member of or participates in these organizations and activities:
- NGLTF's National
Religious Roundtable for LGBT Justice

outreach program of the National Black Justice
